More Updates

CHRISTMAS EVE

So here I am working on updating more. I know some of these posts are out of order, but at least they are getting updated slowly. Still don't know if people even look at this. Again I picked just a few photos to use.

UPDATES FINALLY COMING

Okay. I am going to finally start updating this hopefully. I say hopefully because I say that all the time. I start this and I don't even know what to write. Lets start with doing Christmas first. Slowly I will be updated. Won't get it all done tonight I doubt. Well my mom and brother came out for Christmas and that was really nice. This was the first time they had seen our house. It was the first time they had seen the boys in a year and they had a blast with them. It took the boys a little longer to warm up to my brother, but they sure did. They really warmed up to Grandma as well and went to her a lot. They did so much better listening to her than me of course. I posted all the Christmas pictures on facebook, so only going to post a few on here. Way to many to choose from.

Update

Okay so I am completely horrible at updating this. I told myself I was going to start updating this more and just update facebook. I just don't know what to write on here anymore. Things are going pretty good for us. I have been having back and forth issues with my mood, energy, and dealing with the boys. This week has been much better. Hopefully I do better at updating. My life is pretty boring. Just set home with the boys every day. I have been getting better at taking them places with me. Everytime I go to get video or take pictures of them they stop what they are doing and come directly for the camera. Enjoy.

So for updating with some pictures. Halloween went pretty good. We ended up carving pumpkins with Scott's siblings over even though Scott said we weren't going to carve them. Jayden didn't want to stay off the table. The pumpkin guts didn't scare him at all. On Halloween we went to Scott's parents ward for there Chili Cook-off and trunk or treating. The boys did really good there, besides not wanting to eat very well. To much commotion I think. Scott thought they were to young to participate in the trunk or treat, but people were giving him a hard time so we went down one row. The boys actually enjoyed there costumes and left the head pieces on. Jayden was a Panda Bear and Luke was a Teddy Bear. Pictures won't be in any particular order.

Yesterday I went and bought them a toy box. I was sick of them taking the bins out of there three day plastic bin. They would take the bins out and then fight over them. They also stood on them to play with the light switches which drove me nuts. I ended up getting them a Thomas the Train toy box. On the inside of the lid there is a design that with a small train track. Of course I messed up putting on one of the stickers so that was ruined and can't be used, but oh well. My ultimate goal was to have the toy box stay in the bedroom, but within 1/2 hour of getting it in there Jayden was bringing it out pushing it through the house. So last night I decided to just put it in a corner of the living room for now. They can't get it out very easily. They worked on it off and on all morning and ended up getting it out and pushing it all over the place. They love playing in the toy box. There will be some pictures following as well.

Update with Pics

So I haven't been updating. I don't know how many people even read this. I have been mainly using my facebook lately. So for a little update. We made it safely into our house. Slowly getting unpacked. Scott has been really busy with work lately so can't get him to unpack and put his stuff away very easily. I have been sick for awhile and it has been hard to get over. Everyone in the Johnson household (that would be counting Scott's parents house, since that is where we were living) has been sick and passing stuff around. It has taken awhile to get over everything. Not sure what to put. Might end up getting rid of this unless I find out a lot of people are looking at this.

Luke and Jayden playing with my utensils. Luke is in the cars and trucks pj's. They have a lot of fun playing with my utensils. So far they have broken three plastic ones as well. Right now I have all my metal ones on my counter because they won't stay out of the drawers. Getting tired of them being on the counter. The past couple days they have only got the cake spreaders and wood spoons. They had been trying to hit me with the other ones. The other day one of them was successful and hit me with a plastic spatula.

Here they are reading there books. Here is a way to see how much they look alike. In the first picture Luke is in the back and Jayden has the cheesy smile. In the second one Luke is on the left. They have been looking at there cardboard books a lot. They have ruined a couple already. Jayden comes up to me a lot with one of his books and wants to look at it with me and set on my lap.

Getting on the Right Path

We met with our Bishop today to start working with him on getting back on the track and doing better. He said we need to get the words "fear and doubt" out of our thinking. You can't have those and faith at the same time. I really need to apply that in everything. Could be a big reason I am having such a hard time all along feeling spiritual and everything. I have second guessing and doubt in me. I have a lot of negative thinking and need to get it out. Keep thinking negatively that I won't be able to get PartyLite to do anything out here in Utah. Why do I have such doubt in so many things. I think that is partly why I can't get a good testimony or feel much in my opinion when it comes to spiritual and church things.

Sorry this isn't organized. Just feel like getting things out and written. Inspired by Kristina Webb. Kristina I really enjoyed your updates on your blog. Wish I was more organized and had things thought out as well as you. Maybe I will think about it and fix this in a couple days or even tomorrow.

Boys First Hair Cut

My babies had there first hair cut today. We debated so much on cutting off the curls. With summer coming shorter hair will be easier especially with sunscreen and stuff. The didn't like the clippers very well. Did better with the shears. I had to hold Luke's head the whole time she was doing his. I didn't have to hold Jayden's head when she was using the shears. Hope you all enjoy.

Safely in Utah

So the past two days have consisted of traveling to Utah. Scott's mom flew out to help me with the drive with the boys. I am so greatful that she came out to help me with the drive. There is no way I would have made it by myself. I am not good at driving distances and I am so happy for the extra hands with the boys. I did good driving yesterday, but not as good at the beginning this morning and today.

The boys did farely well with the drive. They took turns being fussy. It seemed at times they were more fussy when I wasn't driving. Go figure, my time to rest and relax and they were more needy. It was hard having to turn around so much to play with them and give them attention.

We stopped and stayed at a nice hotel in Mesquite last night. We ended up getting a mini suite. Yes more than we should have spent. We needed to have a big enough room to sleep three adults and also have two cribs. Going to bed last night was another story for the boys. They were a nightmare to put to sleep. We tried to do the normal and let them cry it out. That didn't work. Part was they knew we were right there and could see us. Plus Mom Johnson and I think not having there cd player made a difference, but Scott doesn't. Jayden was screaming bloody murder. He would not stop for anything. Luke was also screaming but calmed himself down then would start back in. We ended up having to hold the boys in bed and almost let them sleep with us but the only way Jayden wanted to sleep was on my chest and stomach. So after awhile we put them back in there cribs and was able to get them to stay calm and go to sleep.

Lets hope we are able to get into routine pretty quickly. Have to put there room together tomorrow and Monday. They are using pack n plays tonight til we get the cribs set up.

Well there is an update. Will post one with pics soon when they get there first hair cut and some of being outside here.

Swimming Pool

So yesterday to give us something to do Scott and I washed our vehicles. We put our superyard gate up in the little grass we have in front of our house. The boys did so so being in the gate. I would go be in there with them and set for a few minutes til Scott needed me then would go out. They didn't like that to much but they got over it pretty quick. When we were done washing the cars and were coming inside the boys did not like us. They did not want to come into the house at all. So I went out and bought the boys a swimming pool. We were gonna wait til we got to Utah. Today it wasn't quite as warm as yesterday but I filled the pool with about as much water as there bath would be and let the sun warm it up. After lunch and a walk we put the boys in the swimming pool. The sun was directly on the pool and warm. I thought for sure the boys would take right to it. NOPE. I was wrong. I think the problem was the water was a little colder than they are used to with baths. I was able to get them to stay in long enough to get some pics and prove they were in it. They did okay standing in the water, but when we tried to set them down they didn't like it. When Scott was getting the towels I had both of them trying to climb out. Here are some pictures. Jayden is the first picture and Luke is the second picture in the individual pictures. In the together pictures Luke is on the left and Jayden is on the right.

We are one week away from moving. Mom Johnson is wonderful and we are flying her out on Thursday to help me in the car with the drive back. Tuesday the boys and I have doctor appts, then movers come Wednesday, then she comes Thursday, then we leave Friday probably close to 11am. That part sucks but we couldn't get our move out inspection before 10:30am. This is going to be a super crazy week from time to time.

LUKE

So yesterday at church, my friend Jen's son Greyson or Devan gave Luke a pass along card of Christ. Luke was looking at it a lot and I started saying Jesus and he was repeating me. It was cool. He has been going up to the picture of Christ the past week and pointing at it. Today Scott was trying to calm them down and was holding Jayden at the picture of Christ and saying is that Jesus. We would say it over and over. I came into the living room and grabbed Luke and said the same thing. He was trying to talk and say stuff. Well he said Jesus and Scott heard it. It was so clear. It was amazing and cool. Then a little later we were all by the couch and chair and I said to him where is Jesus and he went to the wall where the picture is and pointed up and it and was trying to talk. They get so happy when we show them the picture. Sometimes what it takes to settle them down is going in front of the picture and saying that's Jesus. I am thinking about getting either a doll with a picture of Christ on it for them or doing a blanket for them with the picture. I just don't know if I could get them attached to it. Luke is super attached to froggy. He will hold other stuff at times to suck his thumb but prefers froggy. I want them to have something closer that they can touch to.

Well there is a little update on Luke since I did when Jayden started saying "t" for tv and peeze for please. Hope you enjoy! :)

Little Update

So since we got back we all have gotten over being sick. Jayden now has 8 teeth and Luke almost has his 7 tooth through. I have done two PartyLite show this past week and the sales in them were absolutely awesome. I am so happy and it boost my confidence a little more. Hopefully I can end California with maybe even bonusing this month. That would be awesome. Scott is done working now and is on his leave before getting out. We might try to leave before the 29th if he can get tmo set up and change our inspection date. Can't leave til after the 16th though b/c I have a show that day. I am currently in the process of looking for work using UtahJobs right now. Hoping to either have some interviews lined up for when we get there or even better something lined up completely would be awesome. We are looking at one apartment. Still waiting for pictures on it and then he might have an open house this weekend for it and Mom and Dad Johnson could go walk through it for us. Found another one that I might have them go check out. Waiting to here back from the person on more information. Not much going on besides trying to do PartyLite stuff and get ready for the move. Just thought I would put a quick update. Will put more when I can organize better and think what to write and get some more pics of the boys to put up.

NEW HAIR CUT

So on Tuesday of this past week I went and got my hair cut by the lady who does my mother in-laws and my sister in-laws. When I got there all I knew I wanted done was to get weight taken off and an easy style. This is an a-line style cut with lots of thinning. So far I like it and its not to bad to do. Now just need to figure out what I want to do for color. It needs touched up. Do I want to go back to normal or put blonde highlights in it. Hubby like highlights. Next do I want to be brave and to bold highlights or just small ones what won't notice a lot. So many decisions. Trying to get decisions made before we leave since I want Victoria, my photographer to do pics of us as a family.

Boys with Grandma and piano

So to first start off I am doing better. Now just a runny nose. The boys on the other hand aren't doing as good. They have been battling a low grade fever for 2 days now. Can't tell whether its cold, teething, or allergies or everything. We will make it through it. We decided we are leaving Utah on Wednesday because Scott has things to take care of for getting out and we need stuff to register the truck in Utah before the end of the month. The drive is going to suck especially with them sick.

Anyway, on Friday night Grandma, to the boys, was practicing the piano for Stake Conference. Luke was clung to me and we were relaxing and enjoying it. Jayden had been back in the bedroom with Trent and when it started came out a few minutes later. He just stood there watching her play and was memorized. After a bit and us showing him it was safe to touch he was touching the keys more. Grandma put him on her lap and was playing Primary songs and singing to him. He would hit the keys. I went to set next to her with Luke, and he just wanted to try to eat the keys. He stood there some.

JAYDEN and Grandma

I haven't done good at updating this because my computer is getting fixed and Scott's is tricky to use with certain parts. We made it safely back to California. Each of the boys have an ear infection and are on Amoxicillan now. Still fussy and clingy to me. Trying to get back in routine some. Both Scott and I have lots of appts coming up the next couple weeks and we will be working on getting ready to leave. Scott will start the check out process on Monday or some time next week. We didn't really do anything on vacation so nothing fun there to write about. Grandma and Grandpa got the boys an outfit and sandals for Easter. We didn't do an Easter egg hunt or anything. They are to small and wouldn't understand. We are just not the sentimental people for every first holiday since they won't know what is going on this past year. Will post pics of new hair cut this afternoon or evening. Working on lunch so we can run errands and maybe enjoy the outdoors some.

On Vacation

So we have been here on Scott's parents house for almost a week now. Scott started getting sick on the way here and is still a little. I started coming down with something on Thursday night. And now it is to the point where it hurts to talk from time to time. Not so much the back of the throat itself and my ears itch like crazy. Had a blessing tonight. Of course don't want to go to the er because it will be a pain with insurance.

The ride here was another story. Jayden does not like being in his car seat for long periods of time at all. We had to have him behind the driver and whoever wasn't driving would have to constantly be turning around and trying to keep him happy. Luke on the other hand was pretty good and content with a toy, froggy or a blanket and his thumb.

The boys have pretty much warmed up to everyone. Jayden is happy and loves to play with everyone. He also likes setting on Grandma's lap. Luke on the other hand is pretty clingy to me. He will go to Scott sometimes, but I can barely leave the room without him crying. If he has woke up in a good mood he will let others hold him easier and play. So he is a catch miss with who can hold him. He plays good and likes when Uncle Chase or whoever chases him around, they both do. Last night Grandma was practicing her piano for Stake Conference and the boys were amazed by it. Luke just sat on my lap. Jayden stood next to her and was afraid to touch the keys at first. Then he got into them some. She put him on her lap and was playing and singing primary songs and he was loving it. Once Scott puts the video on his computer I will upload it, hopefully on Sunday or Monday. My computer is all messed up. Boys had low grade fevers today as well. Pretty sure its from teething. I can see one for Jayden trying to cut through and think I see two for Luke. Lukes gums are swollen. They are both drooling a bunch. Luke has had a runny nose as well. I am hoping that it is all it is and not them getting sick. Haven't thought I had to use the Zertec on Luke yet.

Scott found out his Medical Board package is officially done. We will be getting out and we should be in Utah by the middle of May or early June at the latest. We are going to live with his parents til we can get enough money saved up to rent something. We are hoping to be in either an apartment or house by then end of summer. Scott will start school in August. I am going to be looking for a job when we get here. We are definitely going to need to incomes. Going to try to do PartyLite but got to find the people. Scentsy, another type of candle thing, but with no wick is big out here.

It has been nice to be around family, but hasn't been as relaxing as I would like because of Luke more. Been sort of bored because we havent really done anything either. Scott, myself, his brother Bret, cousin Rick, and friend Travis and his girlfriend Jade went bowling tonight. We had a good time and bowled two games. Scott got hurt though. Pinched his finger between two of the bowling balls when he was grabbing his. After bowling we went to Cold Stone Creamier for ice cream. My throat was doing pretty good then and when we were waiting to leave and leaving it started in really bad and is horrible now.

The only reason I am on here is because I am trying to get my medicine to kick in to sleep. It hurts my head tonight to lay down as well. Going to suck.

Rest of the One Year Pics

Here are the rest of there one year pictures that my friend was able to save and edit. Out of 284 pictures this is all we were able to do anything with. I still have the other cd and if I want some dark I can use them. Hope you enjoy. Now I just have to decide what picture of each of them I want to print and put on the wall as well as which one I want to print for the Grandparents and Great-Grandparents.
